...credit cards affect my credit scor The only item affecting my credit score right now is the fact that I have too many credit cards.

Honey I am in the same situation you are in except I'm deeper in debt. My best answer for you is keep paying the minimum and don't be late! I would also start looking for a second job,that's what I'm doing. Good luck.
