What is the Best credit card for redeeming for airline travel?

I have never had any trouble with American. It might be best to look at where all an airline goes on their website, for example, Northwest only goes as far south as Sao Paulo, Brazil. I like south South America and have gone four times on miles with American. A 10-hour flight to Argentina or Chile can cost only $39 in taxes and 40,000 miles. It's worth the $50/year fee. Good Luck!
