Default I owe $5,000 on a credit card that charges 21% apr. I found a card that

is 0% for 12 months? Transfer balance? Hi, so, somehow I managed to get myself into debt...I owe $5,000 on an amazon visa card. They're charging me like 21% apr (which I understand is the same as the interest rate) and basically, I'm not able to pay it off...cause...I'm being charged for interest the same amount of money I'm paying off every month. Anyways, I got a pre approved card in the mail for 0% introductory apr on purchases and BALANCES for up to 12 months. (which is what I want to get this card for, to tranfer my $5,000 to a 0% apr instead of 21%) It basically says the way to lose that 0% is to not pay on time, or go over my limit, etc...which I wont do either. So, should I sign up for the card and transfer my balance, so I'm no longer paying 21%?
