I'm 20 and I currently have two credit cards. The first one I got though, only has a credit line of 200 dollars and my mom said it would increase over time as you make payments. I've already had it for well over a year and it my credit limit hasn't changed at all where as my new credit card that I've had for almost 7 month has almost tripled the amount of money I can spend on it. Not only that but the first credit card I had adds on a 50 fee every 6 months. I always pay like three times the minimum payment, never late and never over drawn so why is it like this? I want to cancel that credit card but my mom said it will ruin my credit for life, what should I do??

You can call them to see if you can get a limit increase sometime's with such big companies they just let some fall threw the cracks not watching your payment plans

The first credit card sounds like it is designed to screw you. I would cancel it. If either of these cards are special student credit cards for college students then you should cancel them as they will have ridiculously high interest or fees, and instead get credit cards through your bank or when you receive better offers in the mail.
