I live in Australia. My partner and I stayed at a motel and paid cash on arrival. They asked for me credit card as security anyway, so I didn't think twice and gave it to them. Anyway, I found they have charged my credit card and when I called them the lady didn't seem real interested in helping me out. I have called back twice more and each time they swear they will figure it out and call me back but I still haven't heard anything. Where do we stand here? How can we prove we are right? Stupid us, we did not keep the recept they gave us as we thought we didn't need it! Any suggestions? thanks,
