You know, those ones they sell at Walmart. Do they work online because i want to buy things from Musiciansfriend.com and Guitarcenter.com without an actual credit card. Would it work? 5 points for best answer.

Yes it does. But be careful with those prepaid credit card. They are mostly for people with bad credit that cant get a regular credit card. i had a prepaid credit card with the visa logo that i bought at Walgreens..it costs like $10 and then they charge you $5 for monthly charges and $5 more everytime ypu recharge the card....you can load from $20 to $500 maximun. I ended up cancelling it cuz it was just to much money...... BUT, if you decide to buy it...then you can use it for whatever you want...except for car rentals. good luck!!

Yes these cards can be used online, but the bad thing about the cards is that for every purchase you make they charge you a certain amount and you also have to have like 2 % plus the amount of your purchase... So, to me these cards are rip offs.....
