Default Which Credit Cards can I use to make WEDDING PURCHASES that will give me...

...rewards, bonuses, or cash back? My fiance and I are starting to make purchases for our wedding, and we have heard of people getting a credit card to make the wedding purchases and getting some kind of reward, cash back, bonus, or free airline miles. Has anyone heard of this? Where should I look or how should I search to find out which one to go with? Thanks for your help!We are paying off anything we charge on credit cards as soon as the bill comes, so we are actually paying for EVERYTHING out of pocket. I guess I should've been more specific.

If you have Discovery or American Express where you don't pay an annual fee you have what they call reward points. You can check into them more by logging into their websites for further details. Good luck w/the wedding plans.

Chase has many different Visa cards with different rewards. http://www.chase.com/ccp/index.jsp?p...CardCategoryIf you know you use a particular airline or hotel chain, many of those now offer rewards cards as well. Congrats and good luck!

1) Read Dave Ramsey's book, "Total Money Makeover"Did you know that 75% of those rewards are unclaimed? My advice: don't go with credit cards. Save up and spend your own money, not someone else's. Using a credit card just means that someone else bought it for you and expects to be paid in full with interest. You'll get more "back" if you research and find deals.

I agree, those often unredeemed rewards aren't worth extending you debt.
