Default I have bad credit, but want to accept credit cards in my small business?

I asked a similar question before, and contacted an account executive at Transfirst with my question. He did not see a problem, sent me the application which I filled out and sent back, and was subsequently told that I "was accepted" to accept credit cards trough for Dial Pay. Three weeks I'm still waiting for my merchant id to be emailed to me. Every time I call I get another excuse. At this point in time, why doesn't he just own up and tell me that I was actually turned down?
When you fill out the application for a merchant id, they also do a credit check. That's when they discover your bad credit. It has nothing to do with identification.
For everyone's information, I was turned DOWN by PayPal for a merchant account to accept credit cards in person. Please don't give me advice about PayPal. I'm trying to accept credit cards IN PERSON, not online!

Seems like they are just giving you the run around. It takes only 2-7 business days to open any type of merchant account. As you may know, visa doesn't like bad credit...especially when dealing with $1000s of dollars in your merchant account. Most cc companies are going to turn you down and depending on who you go with the rates could be very high.

I suggest giving us a call and we will see if we can help. We work with several businesses with bad credit and we have always gotten them up and running with the exception of a few cases.

Let us know if we can help...
