show my credit card? I want to purchase a hotel room for some friends of mind to drive to the beach. They stay two hours away from myrtle beach and have never went. I figured if I purchase the room and maybe buy them a gift certificate online they will feel obligated to go. They are a older couple that stay in the country and never go anywhere and I want to make things very simple for them. Should I go to a hotel here and purchase a room out of town where they can see my credit card or is there a web site I can go to that will not say I have to show my credit card upon arrival when I get there. My plans are to mail them the confirmation after I find out what weekend they will be free.
